About Us

The museum is at the northern end of the famous Pontypool Park and occupies the stable block of the Park House, which dates back to the 18th century,

It houses a collection of local artefacts with an outstanding display of Japanware, which was made locally from the middle of the eighteenth century. At the end of your visit you can enjoy a drink in the caf, where the work of local artists is also displayed.

The shop sells books and gifts with a local flavour.
